Terms of service

The short version. The free check is free and only reads what your website shows any visitor. Paid work starts with a written proposal that says what you get and what it costs. Plans are month to month. You own your domain, your site and your accounts. Questions: [email protected].

Who you're dealing with

pitx is run by Josh Solis, doing business as pitx, in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. These terms are between you and Josh Solis. By using pitx.ai or hiring pitx, you agree to them.

Preview pages

A preview is a concept we made from public information. It's not the business's official website and it's not an offer to sell anything in it. Business names, photos and reviews in it belong to their owners. Any owner can take a preview down with its “Remove this preview” link, or by emailing [email protected].

What's yours

Your domain, your content, your photos, your customer data and the accounts we set up for you are yours. When you leave, we hand over the site files and your data and help move them. Our own tools, templates and code that we use for every client stay ours, but you can keep using what we built for you.

Your part

Limits

If something we built doesn't work the way the proposal says, tell us and we'll fix it. Beyond that, pitx.ai and the free check are provided as they are, and to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it. We aren't responsible for lost profits or for problems caused by your host, other vendors, or changes made without us.

Ending things

You can cancel any plan with 30 days' notice. We can stop working with you with the same notice, or right away if the work would be illegal or harmful. Either way, we hand over what's yours.

The legal bits

Texas law governs these terms, and any dispute goes to the courts of Tarrant County or Dallas County, Texas. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when, and changes don't apply to work already agreed in a proposal.
